Hola/ Kaixo / Hi!
ESP/ Soy Diego y mi parte Wamba se expresa mejor en collages que en palabras. Actualmente resido/trabajo entre Londres y Bilbao, y sí lo del Brexit no mola. Desde 2010 (por especificar un poco) me he formado, tanto académica como profesionalmente, en diferentes universidades -ETSASS, ETSAV, Potsdam Fachhochschule y AA school-, estudios internacionales -AZPML y BrisacGonzalez- y colectivos sociales de arte y arquitectura -Metxea, ASM y La Tourette- en España, Alemania y Reino Unido.
Lo que hace unos años comenzó como un hobby que consistía en hacer y enviar postales a mis amigxs, se ha convertido en mi medio de expresión. El collage -a veces junto al texto escrito-, me permiten crear narrativas que imaginen y reinventen el futuro o recuperen y transformen la realidad que nos rodea. A veces de manera más idealista y otras más distópica, pero siempre intentando hacerlo con ironía.

ENG / I am Diego and my Wamba part expresses better himself in collages than in words. At the moment, I am living/working between London and Bilbao. Since 2010, I have studied/worked in different universities -ETSASS, ETSAV, Potsdam Fachhochschule and the AA school-, international studios -AZPML and BrisacGonzalez- and social collectives of art and architecture -Metxea, ASM and La Tourette- in Spain, Germany and the UK.
A few years ago, what started as a hobby consisted in doing and sending postcards to my friends it has turned into my principal way of expressing myself. The collage -sometimes together with text-, allows me to create different narratives that imagine and reinvent the future or recover and transform the reality that surrounds us. Sometimes in a more idealistic way and other times in a more dystopian, but always trying to keep the irony on it.
